Golf Fitness and weight loss are two great passions that keep my focus. My first driving passion is sports, and especially golf. After 25 years of playing tennis, golf came into my life. For the past 16 years I’ve worked on getting golf fit, improving my game and having a single-digit handicap. Now’s the time to share how you can get in your best shape for golf, hit the ball farther, reduce injuries, and improve your game overall.

My second passion is to help women and men with weight loss. It brings great joy to empower people like you, to feel your best and find your best self. Weight loss doesn’t have to be as complicated as we make it. If you are looking for easy and doable strategies to make weight loss happen, let’s talk. Now, weight loss still takes work and dedication on your part, however, we can make it fun and enjoyable. There are simple strategies to make your life easier.

My Childhood

How did I get my passion for health and wellness? This started when I was young. My family has a very strong history of diabetes as my mom and all of my maternal aunts and uncles have diabetes. Diabetes has affected my cousins as well. High blood pressure, cancer, heart disease, high cholesterol are throughout my entire family.

My parents were overweight, smokers, and drinkers, and they didn’t exercise as that wasn’t part of the party lifestyle. Some of you may be able to relate. I decided at a young age to take a different route. That is where tennis came in to my life at the age of 9. I enjoyed being able to smash a tennis ball around the court all day long. What I loved about tennis was the competitive nature of the game which is something that has carried over to my golf game.

My dad died in 2008 from lung cancer. He also dealt with high blood pressure, COPD, sleep apnea, digestive issues and being overweight. My dad took tons of meds while he was alive and today my mom takes around 20 pills a day. WOW! Life doesn’t have to be like this. It’s interesting the path that I ended up leading.

I always knew there was something that could be done differently. I definitely didn’t want to follow in their footsteps who wants to go to the doctor all the time?

The deal with most disease is – THEY ARE PREVENTABLE. Did you realize, Type II Diabetes is a LIFESTYLE.

After working in Cardiac Rehab for over 10 years and selling Pharmaceuticals for 14 years, it was time to get back to my passion of helping others lead a healthy lifestyle with healthy eating and exercise. My passion for golf is huge! Helping others improve their golf game will be so exciting!

My Background

I grew up in small town USA – Beaver Dam, WI. I enjoyed growing up in a small town, but I was very excited to leave once it was time and find my next adventure. Growing up in a small town taught me some invaluable lessons and I did learn to keep life simple. It really is easier that way.

30 years later, I am still coaching, training and still loving the health and wellness industry with all it can do for people. I have coached hundreds of clients in helping them lose weight and feel great! I believe in guiding others achieve a life-long strategy for healthy living. I have worked with people of all types of issues, ages, and goals.

Why Work With Me

Prior to owning my own business, I received my Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. I spent 10 years working in cardiac rehab. After that, I worked in pharmaceutical sales for 14 years, selling everything under the sun. Now, selling pharmaceuticals was not my passion and ended up being quite the contradictory job. It was time to get back to my passion!

I have always believed in eating healthy and exercise so your body can heal itself. I’ve never felt pharma was the answer. There is a place for pharmaceuticals, but you shouldn’t have to take a bunch of meds every single day!

Having an insider look into this industry gave me fantastic amounts of insight into culturally and socially where most people are in this country when it comes to health. It gave me an education on how to heal and address issues like toxins in our homes and bodies without relying on this industry therefore allowing me to help others further.
